The Onsted Girls Cross County team continues to improve as the season progresses as they finished 4th (out of of 14 teams) in the 2017 Nick Haynes Invitational at Whiteford.  Onsted tallied 36 total points with their six top runners placing  2nd, 4th, 9th, 10th, 1tth and 13th place finish in the respective grade groups.

Leading the way was senior Lauren Goodrow with a time of 19:50 which was good for 2nd in the senior group and 3rd overall out of 126 runners.  Juniors Saoirse Conley (22:03 - 4th) and Alexandria Bayes (22:30 - 10th)  both finished in the top ten amongst 11th graders, and freshmen Emily Kilpatrick (24:37) finished 9th overall in the freshmen group.

Also running well for the Lady Wildcats were freshmen Sophia Holmes (26:26), sophomores Rylee Clairday (25:14), and Grace Smith (27:59) and juniors Meadow Robinson (23:54) and Gabriella England (24:38).  

The Wildcats will travel to Springport on Wednesday, Sept. 6th to compete in the Springport Invitational.
